Asphalt Laborer / Crew Member

Responsibilities

  • Assist crews with asphalt and concrete work
  • Operate hand tools and jobsite equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety procedures and crew direction

Requirements

  • Asphalt experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Reliable transportation to sites throughout St. Louis
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
  • Experience with rollers, skid steers, or other paving equipment a plus

What You'll Do

As a crew member, you will assist with all aspects of asphalt work, including: patching, paving, raking, shoverling, and luting. As well as: tack application, compaction support, and site prep. You will also operation small equipment, such as plate compacts and rollers.

Work with the crew to complete commercial and residential asphalt projects, such as parking lots, driveways, streets, and utility patches. Perform jobsite cleanup and help maintain a safe work environment.

Follow instructions from the Foreman and help ensure quality workmanship. Support with equipment loading/unloading and basic maintenance tasks.

Asphalt Laborer / Crew Member with CDL (Class A)

  • Perform basic truck and equipment inspections.
  • Follow all DOT and company safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL (Class A) - CDL holders earn a premium rate
  • Experience driving dump trucks preferred, but not required
  • Reliable transportation to sites throughout St. Louis
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle physical tasks as part of a field crew.

What You'll Do

We are seeking a reliable CDL Driver / Laborer who can safely operate company trucks and work alongside our field crews on asphalt and concrete projects. This position is ideal for someone who wants steady hours, a wide variety of work, and room for growth in a strong team environment. We offer premium hourly pay for CDL holders.

What You'll Do

As we continue to grow, we’re looking to add a skilled Concrete Finisher to our field crew. In this role, you will perform all aspects of concrete finishing work on commercial and residential projects, such as: sidewalks, curbs, flatwork, and patching. You will operate finishing tools and equipment, such as: bull floats, trowels, edgers, and groovers. You will also assist with demolition, site prep, and cleanup tasks as needed.

Mechanic

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain copmany vehicles and equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
  • Complete oil changes, brake jobs, tie work, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and general repairs
  • Work with field crews and leadership to address equipment issues quickly
  • Occasionally assist with field support or equipment delivery when needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of mechanic experience preferred
  • Construction and/or diesel experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and make sound repair decisions
  • Valid Class E driver's license (willing to obtain Class A)
  • Reliable transportation to St. Louis area job sites
  • Strong work ethic

What You'll Do

We are seeking a dependable Mechanic to join our team and help maintain our fleet of trucks, trailers, small engines, and heavy equipment. This role is crucial in keeping our operations running smoothly and safely every day.

As a mechanic, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of company vehicles and equipment, including dump trucks, water trucks, skid steers, rollers, and small engines. You will perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections to ensure all equipment is in good working order. You will also complete oil changes, brake jobs, tie work, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and general repairs as needed.
